Hopefully Apple engineers will realize the problem with the update soon and get it fixed. Whats New in Version 10.0.4 Improves stability and resolves issues that could cause iMovie to quit unexpectedly Whats New in Version 10.0.3 Option to sort events in the sidebar by date Change the font, size, and color of new titles introduced in iMovie. It allows the uploading and sharing of project documents, project templates, and exported videos. Automatically align audio and video captured by different cameras in the same scene. This interface has been revamped and optimized to support masking key frames. The camcorder only has female yellow and female black parts (no usb). I also can save them to my hard drive and then upload them directly to youtube, but don't really want to have to take that extra step. This update includes iCloud compatibility improvements for iMovie Theater. Easily slow down or speed up your videos to create unique cinematic effects. I would like to convert my old hi8 videos from a Sony CCD-TRV43 camcorder to iMovie 10.0.8 on my new Macbook Pro.
Imovie 10.0.8 1080p#
I also was able to share very short sample videos, but the videos that crash are 1080p and about 35 minutes in length. I guess I'll just have to wait until enough people report issues. They sent my crash reports to the Apple engineers who sent back a reply that they haven't received many complaints, so it must be a problem on my end and not a problem with the update.

I get the crash using my son's macbook pro that doesn't have anything at all installed on it (time machine, carbonite, canon utilities, etc.) that tech support says could be an issue. I still get the crash even using the internet at the Apple store. I have been on the phone with Apple tech support at least 4 times regarding this issue. Can this somehow be done The titles view only lists titles on a black, white and color bar, but color bar does not allow to set an alpha value for the background. I also have sent crash reports and done much troubleshooting without success. Im using iMovie 10.0.8 and like to display some text with a transparent background over the clip.
